Pocket Watch Workshop

In his introduction, Abbott notes that “The works of Saunier, Grossman (sic), Glasgow, Reid and others have been drawn upon largely” and he goes on to provide a useful handbook with lots of practical advice in 120 pages.  The book is divided into 6 parts: Drawing, Materials, Light and Position, Manipulation, Tools and Appliances and Practical Receipts.  The index at the front is comprehensive.
